Removing Engine


Q:
is it hard to remove an engine from a car?

A:
To remove engine, you need to release the hood and the axle or CV joint first.

Then use the lifter at the hook place on the engine, there is 2 place for hook at the engine shown by hook, use both. Untight all bolt including the transmission, then lift the engine.

Don’t forget before lift, release all wire and hose connection in and out of the engine. For rear place engine like VW or Porsche, you don’t have to lift it, but remove from bottom. Hold the engine from bottom by jack, release the bolt and wire and hose, then slowly take down the jack, then take out the engine from work space.

Don’t forget to put the nut and bolt right where it belong, do check and recheck before turn on.

Preparation On Rain


Rain may come suddenly without notice, it is important to prepare the vehicle to facing the driving on rain.

Here’s a few tip that might be needed when the rain is come.

1) Tyre Pattern

Please make sure that the tyre is on 40% worn, not more then that. It will effecting the tyre traction to the road, and the aquaplanning may happen when the water a lot.
The worn pattern may cause poor of braking ability by the aquaplanning effect. Always check the tyre pattern and the tyre pressure as scheduled.

2) Wiper Blade

The wiper blade is important to determine the view clearance, a worn blade may cause a blur sight and its dangerous to you and others around you.

Don’t forget to check the fluid level on the reservoir, adding a fluid treatment may useful to have a great view, such as an aftermarket wiper fluid or adding hair shampoo or dish washing soap.

Replace the worn blade immediatly for safety reason.

3) Lights

Lights are important to communicate with other vehicle to informing what action you will take, use the light as it should and do not over.

Never live the lamp unchecked.

4) Air Conditioning

Air Conditioning (A/C) is important to avoid the windshield and other window turning fogging by temperature differentiation between the outside and the inside.

Using tobacco or soap on the outside of the windshield may help to prevent the fog event not 100%.

5) Speed

Speed controlling is important on rainy drive, the bad tyre traction may causing the vehicle manuever and stopping is lating then on dry road.

Take some range and faster to braking then driving on dry road to anticipate any manuever of other vehicle or manuever that you may need to be done.
